Want to get a taste of book coaching and meet like minded people who love talking books? Get professional feedback on your writing project from a book coach and have a lot of fun while you’re at it! All writing skill levels are welcome at Creative Writers Cafes.
The coaching sessions, shared over a hot beverage you bring with you, will focus on:
- giving you professional feedback in our group and individual conversations
- providing access to the Author Accelerator blueprint workbooks that help you plan a creative work of any length or genre
- setting up writing accountability that works for you
- customizing systems for completing your unique writing goals
- addressing questions you have about your own work
- challenging you with lots of encouragement to see your writing through new eyes
- encouraging you to try new things you’ve always wanted to do but didn’t have the courage to just yet.
The cafes are $40 CAD to attend each night. Cash, credit card, or e transfer are accepted, with receipts given. You may come to as many or as few cafes as you like over the two months, as they are stand alone events, but registration by emailing Laura is required to attend during the Fall season, as there are a few orientation items to help out with.
Our meetings will be held for 2 hours on Wednesday nights in September and October, from 5:30pm – 7:30pm.
If there is enough interest in an in-person gathering, the cafes will be held at the Truro Library, 754 Prince Street, Truro, Nova Scotia. Otherwise, the cafes will be held online.
There is limited space, so register today by emailing lauraaliese@gmail.com.

I found Laura to be kind, supportive, and honest in how she worked with me as an author. She affirmed me every step of the way, while encouraging me to become a better version of who I am as an author. Coaching with Laura has profoundly improved my writing process and confidence.Alex R.
