I can't believe how lucky I was to connect with coach Laura Aliese, who worked with me on my young adult historical novel. Laura is kind, organized, and highly perceptive. I felt completely heard and appreciated during our time together and highly recommend her to any writers who would like a professional opinion on how to make their books shine.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to have worked with Laura. Her manuscript evaluation was honest, encouraging, perceptive, and specific. I left with a clear direction for how I want to improve my work. One of the noteworthy strengths Laura brings to the table is her organization. She prepares agendas for meetings beforehand and uses a central platform to keep all of our communications. I also appreciated how quickly she responded to emails. If you value integrity and efficiency, I highly recommend working with Laura.

Working with a book coach was a new and enlightening experience. I appreciated Laura’s insightfulness in all aspects of the project I was working on so that I quickly brought it to completion. Her approach was fresh, clear and direct. Thank you for very positive feedback and very useful information that I can apply to what comes next in my writing world. I participated in Laura’s first series of Writers’ Cafes as well as having coaching at home on a one-to-one basis over tea, with a few cat pats and purrs tossed into the mix. Many thanks.

I was so pleased to be able to trust Laura to help me with my children’s story! Through a few sessions we covered many aspects of my story writing, and she provided great exercises for me between our times together. These exercises took me out of my comfort zone and helped me grow in many aspects of my writing.
Having a sounding board to work through the tricky parts and bounce ideas off was invaluable. She helped with both the creative aspects and the technical skills, and I am so pleased to say that my story is complete, and I have been offered a contract to publish!

Laura is a great coach; I deeply value the time we spent together and the progress she has helped me make in my book and my life.
I wouldn’t be this far along and have the courage to push forward without her mentorship. She was effective and sensitive to the genre that I am writing. I have made more progress with her in the last few months than I have in years. She assisted me in building a structured framework for my memoir.
She was enlightening, provoking, supportive, trusting, focused, goal-oriented, knowledgeable, observant, respectful, patient and a clear communicator.
My coach has been my mentor for the past few months, and I highly recommend her.
