Who’s the real deal when you think of writing well?
Who comes to mind?
It seems harder and harder to determine what’s real these days and what’s fake—but true artistry is unmistakable.
I bet the writer that came to mind, the person that most likely has made an indelible impact on your life and many others, paid the high price to think and write like a bona fide artist.
They took the time to grow into their unique selves and took the effort to express themselves carefully, intentionally, with their own distinct flair.
The world is a far better place because they chose artistic integrity over the easy, the mediocre, and the quick fix.
You can choose to be an artist, too, no matter what other people say. No one is forcing you to give up your right to be an artist, to be a curator of your own intelligences. You hold that power, and you can also choose to give it away.
What would it look like to invest in your artistic taste and skill as a writer? To write in a way only you can? To apply yourself and all your intelligences to the writing task at hand with all you’ve got?
If you need a bit of help along the way, consider book coaching with me. I truly love to empower and encourage people in their power to choose the high road of craftsmanship, and to walk that journey with them.
Perhaps you’re curious about coaching, but aren’t sure just yet. I offer a free strategy session for those who’d like to sample what coaching is like, with no strings attached. We leave the strategy session having located your next step in the issue you’re facing. You can find out more and book a spot for an online coffee chat on my website www.lauraaliese.com or by clicking here.
I’d love to meet you if I haven’t already and walk alongside you on your way to being all you can be.
Enjoy the journey,
Laura
